Childrensmissions.com is your interactive guide to involve boys and girls in the mission of God. The official Web site for Children's Ministry Day, this site features information for leaders, parents, and children about children's missions education from WMU. |
Where Can I Find Mission Action Projects? Look around you. Plan projects to minister to those around you with physical, social, or spiritual needs. Investigate needs in your community. For example, local schools will have a list of children and families who need assistance. They will not be able to give you the names, but might agree to deliver the goods to the families and children. Get involved in your church's ministries. If your church doesn't have community ministries, create them. Volunteer at your local association or missions center. Communicate with your local Baptist association to find out what projects your family can participate in. Participate in a preplanned missions experience such as FamilyFEST. Send us your ideas on how to find mission action projects! Email them to children@wmu.org.
